All Assessments for the courses listed here are City & Guilds qualifications.

 

Course 1. 002003 & 002004 (replaces CS30 & CS31) – Chainsaw maintenance, crosscutting & felling trees up to 380mm.

Course duration five days & one day for Assessments.

Prerequisites (former qualifications needed): None

N.B These two elements can be taken individually if required, call for details.

 

Course 2. 002111 (Replaces CS32) – Felling & processing trees over 380mm.

Course duration two days & one day for the Assessments

Prerequisites needed : 002003 & 002004

 

Course 3. 002013 & 002108 (Replaces CS38 & CS39) – Tree Climbing & Rescue & Aerial cutting of trees using free-falling techniques.

Course duration five days & one day for Assessments.

Prerequisites needed: 002003 & 002004

N.B These three elements can be taken individually if required, call for details.

 

Course 4. 002113 & 002109 (Replaces CS40 & CS41) – Aerial Tree Pruning & Aerial Tree Rigging.

Course duration five days & one day for Assessments.

Prerequisites: 002003, 002004, 002013 & 002108

N.B These two elements can be taken individually if required, call for details.

 

Course 5. 030509 Wood Chipper – Safe use of manually fed wood chipper.

Course Duration one day.

Prerequisites: None

 

Course 6. AMWP02 – M.E.W.P – Safe use of Mobile Elevated Work Platform.

Course duration one day.

Prerequisites: None

 

Course 7. CSO974 – MEWP (replaces CS47) – Operate a Chainsaw from MEWP.

Course duration one day.

Prerequisites: None

 

Course 8. Proclimber Advanced Arborist Climber

Course duration 2 weeks.

Prerequisites: CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 & CS40 City & Guilds qualification (or the new award C&G equivalent awards) & at least one-year full time tree climbing experience since your CS40 assessment (proof of this is required before signing up to this course).
